Hello welcome back for another fun theme at The Pixie Dust Studio Challenges! As you probably have guessed we love to see your creations containing as many swirls as you can muster without getting dizzy!  I chose to use Lil' Miss Cupcake from the most current release Goodies. Here is my card:

As much as I love this image I have to wonder if that dear pixie has a sticky bum from sitting on that frosting?  What do you think?  I just love this dp I have but a scrap left which makes me happy-sad. I believe it's by K&cOmpany but I can't find the cover sheet! The Swirly metal corner pieces are from WeRMakingMemories and the gift ribbon snippets are a local hobby store brand.  Well thanks for stopping by and don't foget to see the rest of the Pixies swirly creations.  Beth

Where have all my flowers gone?

Every year I mutter these words even though I already know the answer...This weeks challenge #26  at Your Next Stamp Challenges is perfect for anyone else suffering the pangs of flower loss. We'd love for you to create your own flowers. I was really excited about this however I couldn't decide what materials I was going to use. At the last moment, my kitty decided for me as I caught her playing with my black hemp.  Here is my card:

This flower was pretty easy for each petal I used three strands of hemp with one a bit longer than the other. I then glued the ends together creating a petal.  I repeated this step 6 more times and then glued all the petals together. I then topped off with a braded button not only for interest but for concealing the gooey mess behind the button.  Yippee Fhiona. seems especially happy on this card and that makes me especially happy!
I can't wait to see how you create your lovely flowers!

I have a few challenges for this card:

Practical Scrapper  Stamps

Let's hop hop hop

Happy Monday to you! Are you ready for a fun blog hop? Great!  E.A.D/ Torendi  have teamed up for this event, if you have come from Cassie's you are in the right spot otherwise you may wan't to start from the very beginning,. The very beginning is do re mi... do re mi fa so la ti do...ooops I mean E.A.D! When Jenn from Torendi asked me if I'd like to participate in this hop I was pretty excited. I knew I would be receiving stickerz but when I got the new set Monster Birthday I flipped out!  I really wanted to show off their fun personality so I gave them strength by placing them on plastic packaging and painted white acrylic paint on the back side to make the fun colors pop.Of course, keep in mind you can get them on a white background if you desire. My creations are a fun set for that special friend at school or teacher.

I created this gift box using a template off the SCS sight, they have quite a selection. This was a tomb stone template using kraft cs. I pretty much ran all these projects useing the spots embossing folder as well as used   white a teal acrylic paint to stamp on spots.

This Mini Cupcake Stand  is a Liegh Ann Baird template and it is the cutest idea she rocks!

Forever Torendi....Blog Candy....

Well nothing really lasts forever and this will be my last month as a Torendi dt member. I cannot believe its been an entire year already, Sigh..... I am thrilled to say I will be able to squeeze out at least one more project for the  E.A D/Torendi  Blog hop. I received the best stickers right up my alley and I cannot wait to share my creations with you! This blog hop will be Monday Sept 27th see you there! For now  I want tostroll down memory lane to show you some of my favorite Torendi Creations:

And lastly this card who my youngest son proclaimed as his:

What I love most about being on the team was the challenge of receiving items and being pushed to think way outside the box at times. Seriously who really wants to be trapped behind 4 walls? Thank you Tiff and Jenn for everything! Oh yeah Jenn is offering up a Tornedi style goodie bag as my farewell blog candy all you need to do is post a blurb on your blog and then link back here to Mr Linky. I hope you will continue to see what's Forever Torendi!

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge!

Hello and welcome back to another Pixie Dust Studio Challenge! This week we'd like to see an animal on your card and it's up to you whether it has fur or feathers. Now you aren't required to use a Pixie Dust  image however there is a wonderful array of animal digis at  The Studio go see for yourself.. I chose to use this darling image called Purrfect Princess. Here is my card:

How can you not love the tilt of this kitty's head? OK, now it's your turn what animal do you fancy? Beth

Z is for Zombie....

I don't want you to get the idea my family and I are consumed with blood guts and gore we just wanted to do something as a family we'd never forget! Last month we had the thrill of participating in the 4th Annual Zombie Walk. You should know Zombies are the nicest people, we all looked really horrific but the # 1 rule was no scaring kiddos which was great. The only one not into it was my youngest. He caught wind that he could have dressed up in Camouflage and brought his Nerf gun to shoot the Zombies at the meeting point on the University Lawn. Once he figured this out he just knew he got the bloody end of the stick!  So where am I going with this monologue? Melissa from Pink Cat Studio created the best Halloween digi's this week and one of them just so happens to be Zombie Blobby! Before I share my creation here is the complete set and they are all spooktacular!
My Daughter named the Vampire Blobby  "Count Blobbula" isn't that a hoot?!? Ok so are you ready to see my creation?  OK you asked for it!!!

So I am sure you are wondering where we got all our fake blood and guts right? Well a great privilege of being an EMT is that there is the Moulage Kit at the Rescue Barn with all sorts of oogie boogie stuff! For the guts and brains well we cooked up some Raman noodles with lots of red food coloring and tossed in some oatmeal.  Just in case we got hungry later!  Well I want you to know the main thought mulling through my half eaten brain all night "good grief what if all this fake blood doesn't wash of for church tomorrow?" It all came off! Beth

Pixie Dust Studio Release!!!!

Oh my goodness today is the day of the fantastic  release called "Goodies" from the Pixie Dust Studio and they are fantastic!

Thank You YNS!

I want to let you all know that being a part of the Your Next Stamp design team has superseded my expectations in every way! Karen is so generous to us and very encouraging and all the efforts by the rest of the design team just floors me! So here's to you Thank You! With that being said the Your Next Stamp Challenge for the next 2 weeks is either Thank You or Thanksgiving themes. I am grateful for this theme because it is so easy to live in a thankless mindset so any reminder that comes my way is most welcome!
For this weeks card I had my idea worked out and then I received some goodies from Karen. ( Oh you are going to love the next release in October!) I fell from the vine over Monkey Hanging Around and just had to create a card using this set.

Isn't he too cute? It's hard to tell from the photo however his sweet face is popped up for dimension.  I really enjoyed all the fun creations of those I was able to stop by and say howdy to! You did a fantastic job of inspiring me as well as many others and I can't wait to see what you come up with next! Beth

What's black & White with Red, yellows, and orange?

My card! I am trying to use up my stash of images I already colored. I really thought by doing this it would be a time saver and I would have done a multitude of cards... I guess I thought wrong! LOL! Any how here is another Tiddly Inks image I got from the shop Spring HugABugg, she is so cute! I am already yearning for Spring and the lovely flush of blooms to come forth but that's not going to happen for some time, a very long time in all reality.  OK enough jibby jabby, here is my card:

I am happy to say my button supply is down to less that 150 I can see the light at the end of tunnel. This, of course, merely means I'll be forced to buy some more buttons! Well that's all for now except my little challenge list:
Tiddly Inks  Birthday
Stampotique  Birthday
Aly's Sunday  Sparkle & Glitter Used a glitter pen all over but you can't see it!
Penny's Challenge  Happy Birthday

Well I'm off to the YMCA and then this afternoon I'll be making a batch of Vegetable Beef soup ...mmmm good! Beth

You are special!!!

Oh yes you are! So this card is dedicated to all you out there feeling ordinary or out of sorts.

Don't you just love Fairy Fhiona's  sweet expression?  I do! I also realized  I love white ink on Kraft just about as much as I love it on black card stock. I stamped the sentiment onto ribbon with black Stazon it is the least likely ink to feather out. How is that for a tip of the day...My last love of the card are the copper bitty brads may they never go out of style! Well thanks for stopping bye & I do still believe inky fingers rule though now-a-days the only ink on my fingers is from the ink pad at the library! Beth

Here is a list of challenges for my card:
Daring Cardmakers  Sapphires for Sept (Pinkish orange)
Pile it on  Layers
Aly's Sunday Challenge  Pretty in Pink
Speedy the Cat's  Friends Challenge  5 of something I cut 5 squares for this card

Ellas's Pink Scrapbook Challenge...

Hello again and Happy Thursday! Today for Ella's Pink Scrapbook Challenge #23 we have a  recipe challenge of using your favorite colors and embellishments. Well My favorite color changes with the wind but I was feelin it for Kraft, White, Pink and Green! And I love using ribbon so I decided to really use ribbon! The picture is of my darling daughter when she was just a baby...

My middle child couldn't believe this was his sister or get over the fact her clothes were amiss. To create this I initially stamped this simple flower all over the Kraft paper, I like the looks of this almost as much as white on black! After that there was no plan just action until I got to here.
Well I hope you have fun with this one as it's all about your likes! I will be posting one more time today so you all come back now! Beth
