butterflies...

I stopped over at CuttleBug Spot and thought their new sketch was amazing so I went to work on it straight away. I also used The Pink Elephants challenge of using the colors brown. turquoise and neutral for a card.

There must be some butterfly madness in the air because I've been seeing them all over! Here is my tribute to the wonderful world of butterflies...


PS should I panic? I had a wonderful list of people I follow and my dashboard says I am not following anyone however I still see my picture on their list of followers.

Happy Monday to you all,I hope your weekend was filled with lots of creating! I was able to squeeze in some time while all were snoozing to tackle some challenges as well as complete the Mojo Monday's 99th sketch challenge! Wahoo!

Unscripted Sketches #18...

Two challenges one card...

I haven't had the opportunity to do a Midnight Madness sketch in ages, But this week by chance it's lucky # 13!!! And the sketch is awesome! I incorporated Penny's Challenges a new challenge site for all to enjoy, she wants to see the use of buttons! Great Combo huh!?! Here's what I came up with:




I found these two buttons(not from my hubby's closet) and went to work grinding the gold shine off. I managed to get some off to a copper look then down to some silver so they are tricolored, I popped some brads in the button holes rather than trying to get ribbon in them. I popped up ever other cicle for visual interest but it's kind of hard to see. My card is slightly modified from the Midnight Madness sketch but they are really open to interpretation! Well I guess that is all for now don't forget tomorrow is a new Sketch at Unscripted Sketches so stop on by and join the fun! BR-T

A new challenge!

I am so happy for my blogging buddy Penny who took the leap and created her own Challenge site! You go GF! Penny's Challenges is the name of the game so lets all show her love and drop by The first Challenge is to make use of buttons and who doesn't have buttons if not your husband will never miss the bottom ones on his dress shirts! Trying some thing new...

I don't know if you remember my posting this image shortly after I received my New lenses, however I printed it off today because I intended on submitting it to our county fair. I changed my mind but had to do some thing with it so...







Kind of fun huh? It sure made coloring it in a whole lot easier!!! Have a great evening! BR-T

I used Maisey Ketto for this card and a stamp from Heidi Grace Beyond The Sea collection that mimicked sweet Maisey's hair! There is a lot of tension and pull in this card to created dimension...I hope you enjoy!



Challenge #42 has a challenge of using your favorite embossing folder well for me that is Spot and Dots!

Doodle Factory Delights...

Ok so you all may be thinking what is this, this my friends are all the images
I bought from Starving Artistamps for about $18! The one that is a jungle scene is approx 4x5in! How they have 2One Million Stamp Projects going on right now. They are only a buck a piece and its in a grab bag deal you don't get to pick but it's current stamps. You can chose from the General Starving Artistamps grouping or the Doodle Factory which I love and they are made here in the USA! It was really exciting getting these in the mail and what a blast to see what they sent me! Go check it out! BR-T

Super Saturday Unscripted Sketches #17...

Yippee it's Saturday! You know what that means rest and relaxation for all...perhaps not. In any case, We have a new fabby script at Unscripted Sketches sure to please most. So with out further a due, can I get a drum roll please(just go ahead and humor me by tapping lightly on your table)....TA DAA!!!!



Isn't this sketch great our awesome DT member April created this and I found it fun to work with! I used the Close To My Heart stamp set From Me To You for all the stamped images and sentiment. The patterned paper is is from K&cOmpany's Que Sera Sera,
the dew drops are from Robins Nest and the black hemp CTMH and the grey toning on the leaves is a Souffle Pen. Here's my card:
