Cake People are awesome!!!!

I love theses digi's from The Greeting Farm this cute cake is Freaky Flutter and I have had her colored up forever just hanging out in limbo... until now. Here is my card:

 

I really like the way this image turned out, I am no way a shading master but this isn't too shabby if I do say so myself. I pulled out one of my new embossing folders for the the framed "flutter." and sanded it down a bit to draw out some white. Speaking of white it feels so good to use my white on black again you will be seeing it often...there is no doubt about it.

So onto my blog hop creation! I have used Happy Dance Stamp and a sketch from MFT:

Here is my card:

I am pretty pleased with how this turned out I got some new ribbon at my local scrap store and knew I was going to use it with this stamp. This ribbon treatment is something new to me I cut 6 pieces at 2 1/2 inches and secure the ends on each. I created two rows with the use of double sided tape and stacked the rows and then used a small strip of dp to cover the frayed edges. Is that about as clear as mud?

Mojo Monday?

I haven't created anything for Mojo Monday in a very long time, a very very long time! I saw this weeks sketch and it triggered some interest, not to mention my one-in a-million-chance to win a free set from Verve Stamps! Yeah baby!  So here is sketch # 172

I Heart Pink Cat Studio!

Today is another exciting day because I get to share some terrifically sweet new images from The Pink Cat Studio! Melissa gave us last month off to get focus on friends & family. This was really appreciated, but let me tell you, I was going through some serious Lily withdraws! Big Time! When Melissa sent us these new images I fell in love with them how could I not!

YNS Sketch Challenge

Wow, I cannot believe it has been three weeks passing since out last challenge! Welcome back I hope all your holidays were wonderful. Today at Your Next Stamp Challenges (YNSC33) we have a fun Sketch designed by are amazing dt member Kerri:

 

Now I just love the ornate framing, it looks like one of the very popular Spellbinder dies, sadly I don't own any square dies but I was able to use my Cricut to cut out the scalloped square.

 Here is my card:

The black metal frame was a part of a kit from making memories and it used to be cream.I decided to paint it and sand it down to make the dots pop. I love Day Dream Fhiona she sitting on that flower without a care in the world...She's 50% off!!!! Think on that! I love this paper pack Girl Friday by Cosmo Cricket I found  a 12x12 48 sheet combo pack on sale and it will be here tomorrow I can't wait!

Welcome back to Tuesday Takes! This week we have a sketch by Card Patterns. I haven't personally done too many of their sketches so I was excited to take this one on!

I pulled out a previously colored digi image from Tiddly Inks Pinky .

I  used another embossing Folder that I received for Christmas to create the sentiment, I am loving all my new stuff! Of course what isn't old is that rickrack ribbon which is my all time  favorite. I am seriously considering purchasing every color when it goes on sale again. Today is a bittersweet day as it's the last day of my kiddos Christmas break...It flew by that's for sure though at moments it was not fast enough!

Happy New Year Year!!!!

I have been M.I.A. getting ready for a few upcoming releases and making time for my kiddos. I have been sneaking onto your blogs just rather incognito leaving little to no words...once again sorry!
I created this card last night while watching Despicable Me I love Steve Carell even though he causes me so much anxiety on The Office! I have vowed once again to use more of my collection in rubber so what do I do? Grab another often used  Ketto, resolution already up in smoke poof just like that...

I followed a sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday because I was wanting lots of layers.

Here is what I created for the multitude of "Thank You" challenges from last week:

This Ketto is Ivy and even though she's a bit tricky to color I think she's a darling fairy at least I think she's a fairy! I got a mega supply of American Crafts Black card stock ( Now I can stamp white on black again!!!) and ATG glue and several embossing folders for Christmas from my amazing in laws and my super awesome mom & Dad  gave me some money which is huge plus because now I have more foam tape on the way and a huge supply of dt papers. Life is good! THANK YOU!!!

Busy Busy Busy!!!!

Wow I keep spinning around never really knowing when I'll slow down...hopefully soon! I Implore All Of You Wear Your Seat Belts and if not yourself,  please put your children in them!!! My DH came back from a rescue call tonight and a child was thrown around the  car after a collision!  I bet his Christmas won't be very full of Joy if he survives. It only takes a few seconds and any discomfort you may have from the belt is nothing compared to being tossed about inside or outside your vehicle!

On a lighter note I want to share this card I created over the course of a year, I say that because it once was an ornament that I recently converted into a card for mailing purposes.(it can easily be removed from the card base to become an ornament once again.)

 

This is my favorite Ketto that I own her name is Calliope. Well I have many things to do until morning so goodnight and I miss stopping by all your blogs!

Cold season is amongst us in my household, this means mucus, and mucus mean snoring, and snoring means I can't get to sleep, and I can't get to sleep means I am cranky and apathetic to my sick household! But hey, I have a get well card for all of the rest of you who may be felling Baaaaaad:

These are some great Octopode images if you haven't already guessed and yes it's Little Bo Peep and her  her little lost sheep. Using my handy dandy Photoshop I created some background paper and reversed the image as well. I really do hope you all get well soon... especially my family!

What do you get when you take the E out of CASE?

Clean and Simple!!!! That is this weeks challenge at Your Next Stamp Challenge # 31. I think I created the cleanest most simplest card in my creative history. I will admit I nearly had a breakdown and I had to sit on my hands literally! But I did it!

I love this Mini Snowman and I gave him just a touch of color. The "Christmas Cheer" sentiment comes from the Mixed Bag of Greetings set. So are you ready to take the E out of CASE?  I hope so!
