Pixie Dust Studio Challenge!

Happy Thursday to you all! Well last night was my daughters last game of the season, it's a glad sad moment...mostly glad! Another glad moment was finding the tiniest smidge of time to create this card for The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge. All month Pixie Dust Studio will be bringing you Christmas in July.  This week we have a great sketch for you to use.  The twist is that your card should be Christmas themed.  

 

Kathy sent out some darling Christmas images available at The Pixie Dust Studio Shop today. I just love Tinsel the Gnome, so I made a mad dash to get this card created!

 
I downloaded this fantastic digi paper free from The Craft Table blog to complete this piece. I would love to buy more digi papers but I don't want to pay all the fees required to make cards for sale so I am thinking I had better get to work on creating some of my own...someday!

Do any of you recognize what I used to frame my sons photo? Yep it's those plastic decorative clips that Close To My Heart sold ages ago. I bought a bunch and never could figure out what to do with them.I colored these with my Prismacolor Markers, ran them through various embossing folders and cut them up It's a shame these are discontinued! So tell me, if you own these what did you do with them? Heck why not put them on this weeks challenge?!?  See ya soon! Beth

Pixie Dust Studio Challenge!

Hello again! Today at The Pixie Dust Studio Challenge we'd love to see creations using more than one image! While many of us chose to use more Twilight Images it is certainly not required! This card was complete improve I just started using these unknown rub-ons from forever ago and went with it. Well I am off to VBS this has been a fun week not only for the kiddos but myself. I love developing these mini relationships with by group! Have a great day! Beth

More Pictures Please!

Wow... I cannot fathom the fact it's been exactly one week since I have last posted! I have been helping out with VBS for the past two weeks and my daughter has so many softball games there is little time for much else.
I was able to steal a way for a bit to create this layout for the newest Ella's Scrapbook Challenge #13 Adding extra photos with pockets, flippers, accordion mini's and any other fun and creative way.

First off I want to say wow to all the fantastic layouts created for Ella's Pink Scrapbook Black & White photo challenge! This week for Challenge #12 with Ella we have a sketch as well as the theme Park/Vacation/Zoo spot or Fun Day, here is the sketch

As we just recently returned from vacation this was a no brainer and this picture of Oscar is among one of my favorites from the trip.   I used my June Kit From Torendi "Paris in Bloom" to created this layout because the colors were perfect and Sassafras card stock banner stickers really gave me the feel of Mexico I was looking for.  These kits are just the ticket as you receive just the right amount of papers and other great product to keep you inspired until the next month. There are plenty on sale right now or if you sign up for 6 months you get a discount as well!  Gave a great day! Beth

Isn't this image great? I love how the license plate was left blank so you can personalize it accordingly! Does anything look familiar to you? The propellers on the buttons were cut from the sun on the Oh Happy Day set, I was feeling pretty smug about that ! Twilight Blog Hop...

I am really not sure except the first movie really brought me back to the days of High School relationships. So my card pays homage to those first sparks of love interest using My Edward & Bella just outside there lockers. 

 I love the dp by Bam Pop along with the little note in Edwards hand, remember passing notes...how long was that? Well before I go off the deep end and reveal my true age I'll scoot you on over to Kathy our
