Hello! I am so excited to share these fun treat baskets I made for my son's kindergarten class & faculty there are 40 in all. I filled the cello bags with pretzels, white chips, chocolate chips, Valentine M&;M's as well as dried cranberries. I must say it looks rather festive. My only regret is I didn't make these for my children's classes... however I had already fulfilled my room mother obligation at Halloween and simply ran out of time.
Here is an image of the front and back

Here is a closeup the basket is designed by Lauren Meader and available at Papertrey Ink
the stamp set is a Heidi Grace Design Valentine's Day

Are you still feeling the love?

Well Valentine's day will soon be a memory... I have been non-stop-crafting to get the already mentioned kid's treat's for Monday completed. I will share these tomorrow. I am sort of stressed because I am all but certain my kids will all be ill by Monday with a virus going around. What can you do?
Today I'd like to share a card that was commissioned:

I'm having a Flashback

I have really been putting off submitting for Flashback Friday because I  am usually leery about posting "past" creations but when I saw the call for the first 3D project I was actually excited to share.  This a a mini album  (2in. x 2in.) I created using bits and pieces from my stash. The awesome hinge was from Daisy D, the wing sections were actually metal hearts from Joann's that I applied Alcohol inks too and then stamped with StazOn. I really am happy to relive this it was an awesome day at the zoo probably one of my favorite zoo days!

It's been a While...

since I last posted. I have been working on my children's treat boxes for Valentines Day! Yes, I do realize most of them will be tossed away but a few will be treasured more a day or two! LOL! I will be sharing these soon. I was asked to create two Valentine cards for my husbands friend/coworker.
Today I will share :

I combined two different stamp sets to create these heart flowers one from Close To My Heart
called Treasures of the Heart  (long since retired) and The other from See D's called Love Grow's.
I wanted to put a love sentiment on the card but I couldn't find the right spot.
Well thanks for stopping by & have a great evening!

More "Love" To Share

It's Saturday and I'll bet you ten dollars I'm still sleeping...I love sleeping in! Today I have a special card to share, why you ask?  Well, it's not the 6 x 6 I've grown accustomed to it's the 4.25 x 5.5.  I  also used most of  base of the card with a few punchy additions.  This is a technique I rarely use but I admire those who follow this creative path, it's almost like Feng Shui of card making. Any how enough jibber-jabber, here is my card using Card Positioning Systems sketch. Here is the sketch:

Here is my card with TGF retired Fly Away:
(if you click the image it looks way better)

I really am pleased with how this turned out & I hope you are as well.

Pink Cat Studio Release!!!!

Happy Thursday!!! I want to share for those of you who are wondering it has been 14 days since my last intake of caffeine and I am alive to tell the tale! It really was a treacherous journey but things are looking brighter every day. Do you want to know what I have noticed about myself? I have way more tolerant  and less apt to blow a gasket about trivial matters. This is a good thing!

Now lets talk about The Pink Cat Studio new release Itty Bitty Betty Love:

Aren't these so cute!!!
I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketches :

I pulled out my Basic Gray Sugar Rush which screams Valentine to me to create this card using
Itty Bitty Betty Pulling Heart Wagon.
Here is my card:

Don't they look so happy with their love filled wagon? Using stickers is a rarity but those red swirls had a predestined place on this card! By stamping  the UR onto the sentiment I felt it added some dimension & brought out the black matting.  Thank you for stopping bye and remember you can only get that cute Teddy Freebie today with a purchase!

Show Us Your Pleating!

Happy Wednesday to you! My children are elated that they continue to avoid school due to inclement weather...I just wish we could go somewhere!

This weeks challenge at YNS Challenges is "Pleating", now don't laugh however I had never attempted this technique before. I get pretty anal at times and I think I was worried this would have been one of those times! I got over it, & here is my card featuring Fairy Fhiona I think this is the first card I have created with this stamp (gasp I know!) this sweetie got lost in the shuffle but happily we were reunited!

OK nix the whole first time ever because while I was pulling up this photo I came across one other card I made many moons ago, yeah I am not a total rubber neglecter! LOL!
This color scheme eludes to blue skies and sunny days all the way, I have all but forgotten what those are.
Sigh....
Well I do hope you'll share your technique of pleating with us & thanks for stopping by!
Oh don't forget we still have a Blog Hop going on over here , you have until midnight EST tonight for your change to win a fun prize!

This week we have a fun sketch from Mojo Moday oh so many moons ago:

This sketch is so open to interpretation that is why I really enjoyed this one! My card is rather simple and forthright, however in all it's simplicity, I was able to toss in a bit of whimsy here &  there.

I decided to use a Lori Boyd image Lollipop Dylan.
I also played along again with  By Lori Designs Challenge in hopes to win a digi here are the colors:
