Bright and Bold...

***second posting today, scroll down for Pixie Dust Studio Challenge

Hello again I just finished up this card for YNS Bright, Bright & Summery Color Challenge using Yippee Fhiona.

I love how happy she she is jumping up and down for joy as well  the friendly sun  from the Windy Day Accessories  who seems to be sharing excitement. I created this card using the Cards And Things  sketch which is a really versatile sketch to say the least. Well thanks for stopping by again!

ALSO!!!

At Your Next Stamp we're getting ready for a brand new release! Woo-hoo!  To celebrate, we're holding a blog hop on September 1st when we will be showcasing some super cute new Fall and Halloween stamps, plus this will be the official start of the new YNS DT!

Sem has designed a new blinkie to advertise our hop (see above) and Karen is holding a pre-hop blinkie contest over at her blog HERE

If you fancy being entered into the draw to win the entire new September release (that's a lot of yummy purple rubbah, hee hee!), then all you have to do is grab the code and post the blinkie on your blog.  Then hop on over to Karen's blog to let her know you've posted the blinkie on your blog by popping your name and blog URL into InLinkz to be entered into the draw! Easy peasy!

Hurry though, as the contest ends tomorrow!!!!!

I love Harry Potter!

I am so excited to share a card using Kathy's new and oh-so-amazing Harry Potter dgis! These will be available at the Pixie Dust Studio shop September 1st!  Hermione is the character I chose for todays card, I just adore her character of intelligence and strength!

I chose this sentiment because as we all know Hermione is far from ordinary! Question though...why is extraordinary spelled the way it is? It seems to me to read "sorry you're not ordinary you are "extra" ordinary"! I never liked the spelling of that word! LOL!  Don't you love those Humania Clips as well as the Cosmo Cricket  Matilda dt paper? Well, you can get both of these at the Torendi shop!  Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the rest of the dt creations! Beth

Here are the challenges met for this card:
Paper Cutz  Use Metal
Cute Card Thursday  No Punches or Die Cuts
Stampin for the Weekend  Anything Goes
C.E.S. Challenge  Anything Goes
Christmas Stampin' All Year Long  No Christmas Card!

Someone forgot to distribute the no-sickos during-the-summer policy at my home! I have had my fill of summer coughs and runny noses.  I do love listening to my kiddos breath sounds it gives me practice however, Dragging all three of them to the DR. office is another story...
Speaking of  Dr.'s ( lets not forget the hard working Nurses and PA's)  I'd love to share this weeks Pink Cat Studio release:

Aren't they terrific? They are sure to bring some cheer to any under the weather wee ones or older alike. I chose to create a "Get Well" card using Nurse Betty & Dr. Bear.

I can never resist those striped tights and I decided to go with some striped paper to accentuate them. Be sure to check out the rest of the dt creations as well. See ya later! Beth

Bam Pop!

Happy Monday to you! We are in our second week of school & I just came to the realization I now have 3 backpacks to mill through daily...that's a lot of papers! I wanted to share a card I created using my post prized Torendi products from Bam Pop. If you have not played with any of these products you need to! I used Bam Pop! Volume 3 Collection paper pack as well as Hello bot. I wanted this robot to mimic the great patterned paper so I cut away all the extra polymer from the image so I could manipulate his arms and legs. Here is the card:

That little robot sure has some moves let me tell you!  Now I just realized he's sold out but don't you fret because there are some new stamps arriving soon! Check them out!

Aren't these the most amazing stamps I am in love with the Halloween set and like Jenn's child I have a son who would live off of PB&Js if I were to allow it!
Well that's all for today except for my list of challenges for the card see you soon!

Hello it's so nice to see you again!  I want to let you know I am so very excited to share my layout with you because I truly love it! It's hard to not love it because it's of my lovely Isabelle. Oops I got a bit sidetracked! Let's talk about  Ella's Pink Scrapbook Recipe Challenge: Cardboard, Journaling, and Circles. Here is my creation:

I call this Abstract Shabby Chic. I pined for what seemed like hours over how to dress up those corrugated cardboard circles. Finally I and settled upon these flowers.I distressed them with white ink to create the feel of these great Basic Grey papers and all the distressing of the edges. Can you believe there was a time I actually pooh poohed Stickles?  I just didn't know any better, I swear! Well as you can see I really laid on my Diamond Stickles rather thick on that awesome green ribbon. Mental note to self:  Stickles should be the very last step in creating anything!  I know you all are nodding in understanding of the grief I caused myself by not following my own rule!  Please be sure to check out the rest of the super chic design team. See you soon!

Challenges for my layout:
Secret Saturday Crafter  What Are Little Girls Made Of
Frosted Designs  Use at least  5 of the Ten Items they Listed I used: Circle Punches, Ribbon,Pink & Blue, Flowers,Glitter & Buttons.

Fun House Sneak Peeks!!!

Happy Tuesday! I hope all is fantastic for you, my wonderful children started school yesterday and boy was it sure quiet around here...it was HEAVEN!!! I made a pact with myself that I will get all my crafting done before they arrive home from school and then that is that, it's us time. I feel I owe this to my children and myself I pray I can maintain this balance.
OK, let's talk about Kathy's new soon-to-be-released Fun House Images from the Pixie Dust Studio. These are the absolute best and will be perfect for your Halloween needs. Today I would like to share a card using Just Batty, I adore all her stitching lines. I had this photo that I opted not to use for our county fair this year however rather than toss it away I felt it would make a great background. Here is the card:

Isn't she great? Now don't forget to stop by the rest of the design team to see their spooktacular creations! Beth

Happy Birthday to You ...

***3rd posting today scroll down for more
Today is a very special day as Your Next Stamp is celebrating its very 1st birthday with a Birthday Blog Hop!
The YNS Starlets are being joined by some fabulous friends for this Hop, and together we are showcasing some fantastic new release stamps as well as some firm favourites!  These new stamps are available to buy from today from Your Next Stamp, along with all your YNS favourites.
If you'd like to participate in the Hop and you didn't arrive here from Cabio's  blog, please CLICK HERE to return to the start of the hop at Karen's blog, as I'm sure you don't want to miss out on all the fun we have for you today!
The Hop starts today (Thursday, August 5th at 08:00 EST) and ends on Wednesday August 11th at midnight (EST).
We have not one but two grand prizes for you to win - two lucky winners will be drawn at random to each receive a $25 gift certificate to spend on YNS stamps!  WOW!  As the prize is so fantastic, we are going to make you work a little to enter, LOL!  Each Starlet and Guest Starlet have a letter hiding in their blog post.  All you need to do is gather these letters, rearrange them to form a 3-word phrase, and then email this phrase to Karen.  All correct entries will be entered into the grand prize draw.  So make sure you Hop around every blog and remember to leave a comment at every stop too.
My secret letter is .... I know you know it already but yes, it's H
All that cake must have affected Karen as she has gone a little crazy and is holding a 20% off sale for the duration of the Hop - the crazy part is that everything will be reduced by 20%, including items already on sale!  I'm not sure when (or even if!) this will happen again, so make sure you hop on over to the YNS store once you've completed the Hop and fill your basket!
I have used the Star Cuties stamp for my blog Hop creation .....

I also pulled out the stars from Yippee Fhiona Set and the Birthday sentiment from Fhiona and Her Pony Maggie
So now it's time for you to Hop on over to Cindy's  blog as she is the next stop on our Hop, but don't forget to grab my hidden letter first and also leave me a comment!
Thanks so much for Hopping with us today!  I hope you enjoy our birthday celebrations and new stamps! Beth

Ella's Pink Scrapbook Challenge # 19

Hello Happy Thursday to you! Today I will have a total of three posts so please check back if you can! Ella's Pink Scrapbook Challenge for this week is:

We want to see the ever growing in polarity punched borders, 2 Patterned Papers & Buttons. Now I must admit the only border punch I own is the drippy paint on and I faked the scallops with my corner rounder but what's done is done!:

I loved this beach in Progresso, Mexico it was made up of coral and seashells, the kids couldn't believe they were sitting o piles of shells.I came across a bit of tile that had worn down from the waves and shells, I forgot all about it until yesterday when it surfaced amongst the pictures. I wanted to create something fun with the tile so I stamped on it using StazOn, wrapped some hemp around it and imcorporated a buttom. Here is a close up:

Well thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the rest of the design Team! Come back now! Beth
