My final Inky Impressions dt creation...

Now this does not mean I will never use an Inky Impressions Rubber Stamp again because that just would not do! My term is up sad to say these ladies were the best to work with and you can bet I will never stop searching out their great inspiration! For my final card I decide to use Ice Cream Lili because it's so hot out and I thought this might cool things off a bit!

I want to enter this into a few challenges:
Secret Saturday Crafter  No Pattern Paper
Crazy4 Challenges  Sketch
My Time To Craft  Vivid
Charisma Cards  Going around in Circles
Cute Card Thursday  No DP
Well thanks for stopping by and don't miss out on The Yahoo Inky Impressions group and their great challenges! Beth

Bam Pop!

I love this companies products and the fact that Torendi makes them available to you! I wanted to share a card I created using the Bam Pop Volume 3 Collection and these feisty little Ninguin Stamps. A Ninguin in case you haven't gathered is a cross between a Penguin and a Ninja too funny I know! Here is a card I created using these great products:

Isn't that frame fun? I used my Wild Card cartridge it's full of great shapes. Finally I used the Hai from the I Heart Kawaii rub-ons to complete the card. I hope you enjoy this card, it's different from my typical work but that's the best thing about Torendi products, they evoke a newness to creating!  I am excited to say I am officially a dt member for Torendi so you'll see more posting from me about their awesome product! I received next months kit and I wish I could share it with you today but you'll just have to wait a few more days! Beth

Yippie! Today is the day that The Pearl images are available for you! Here they are in all their glory:

Aren't these fantastic? Like I said before, there is something for everyone!!!
Keeping  in theme with The Pearl. the Pixie Dust Challenge for this week is to embellish with pearls how great is that? Here is my creation using many pearls as I couldn't stop myself!

I want to share a fun little tip with you today, you can color your pearls with your alcohol based markers to coordinate, how great is that? Now I must admit darker colors work the best, but why not see for yourself?
Now if you want to be totally astounded then stop by the rest of the design team:
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see yor pearls real soon! Beth

Ella's Scrapbook Challenge

Hello! I hope you are all doing well. I wanted you to know I had a wonderful time stopping by all the participants of last weeks Pink theme WOW! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us with this  weeks  Pink Elephant's Challenge # 8.

I love the fact that things are kept fresh by mixing it up so were not just doing themes but were adding it sketches as well which by the way are all really great you won't want to miss out! Here is this weeks sketch :

Now remember you can mix it up with the shaped and such we just want to see the general idea! I decided to scrap a few photos from my sons first game of the season Isaac had noticed I had been scrapping my other two kiddos as of late so to keep things in balance it was his turn. Too funny!

I  just love this photo he has such a sense of confidence and pride about him and that couldn't make me happier! You may not recognize most of the products I used due to the fact they are ancient!  I have to use up my old stash! Now be sure to stop by the rest of Ella's scrap happy crew:  Trudi, Betty, Jenn, Lisa, Jess, Angela, Sarah, Audra, Mary, Beatriz, Fern, Jan, Jennifer & Kimmy. I hope you can play along too! Beth

Hello! Happy Wednesday! Are you ready for another Inky Impressions Challenge?  For this week we'd like you to choose two things from the word FLOWERS to add to your creations...

F - Faux stitching or Flowers
L - Lace
O - Circles, brads, or pearls
W - Watercoloring
E - Embossing

Torendi Spotlight!

Hello again it's the 15th and that means another fun showcase of one of  Torendi's awesome products! I held on to these little gems til last because they are so great!  I didn't want to rush into anything, I had to really mull it over LOL! So what is it you ask? It's Bam Pop ! Volume 3 Collection, I am telling you these papers are so unique and fun! I created two projects inspired by my children. The first is a layout of my daughter sleeping, the poor dear wasn't too impressed with the flash going off at 2 a.m.

I used partial sheets that being the Checkered  and Unicorns I affixed the unicorns to another sheet of card stock before cutting them out and then popped them onto the page for various depths. I couldn't resist using that Humania Clip or the tangerine Chit Chat Thickers to finish this page off!

Ok this next project was so easy to make but it's my pride and joy! Oscar came home with this zany  yellow paper mask paper ans I just knew what was to be done...seriously it was meant to be. I have never had the inclination to alter a photo frame until that day here is the super Rad frame:

Isn't this fun? I simple lade my frame down on the back of the paper and traced the inner and outer edges cut it out and busted out the Mod Podge! The U R letter was the same steps and again the Humania Clip
just found its way onto the frame. Once again I colored the mask with a yellow Prismacolor marker it really pops off his face. I apologize if I seem too boastful I am just really excited about this! Well I hope you enjoyed your stay as much as I enjoyed having you! Now go get that paper! Beth

Unscripted Sketches # 55 with piggyback challenge and a farewell...

It's Saturday heehaw! Today is my son's first T-ball game of the season and we are so excited! This also National Chocolate Chip Day, so if you choose to do the piggyback challenge, it is to use something chocolaty. Whether it is chocolate brown paper, chocolate chip print paper or a chocolate chip as a focal point, go chocolate chips! Here is the fantastic Unscripted Sketch by SarahKaye:

The chocolate chip challenge sort of slipped my mind when creating my card however I did decide to color Lili's sweet teddy bear dark brown so it was back in the deep space somewhere! LOL!  Here is my card:

I don't know about you but I love popcorn and LiLi's Slumber Party really fit the bill for this weeks card! The fun sentiment is another fun freebie from Paulette at Create with TLC. I had a lot of fun creating this card it was relatively simple to create. I want to let you know this will be my last card as a dt member for Unscripted Sketches, this was a tough decision but with school coming to an end I knew I had to give up a few things... this makes me sad. I have enjoyed all of my teams inspiration and wonderful support this last year and hope to make time to create some sketches just for fun. Beth

Here Kitty Kitty

It's been decided our cat is schizophrenic & I surmise this is quite normal for young cats...Speaking of cats (or Dogs) Paper Cutz Challenges #41 would love to see your creations using either cats or dogs and after that the rest is up to you! Here is my card using a Pixie Dust Studio digi called Purrfect Princess:

Don't you just love her? I tried something new with this card as I layered 3 buttons inside each other and bound the with string I suppose gluing would have been easier! Today is the beginning of my sons summer vacation, he will of course get up extra early now rather than the forcing out of bed for the last 9 months! Kids! We will have an entire week together before his older sibling start their vacation I hope to savor the week! Enough about me let's talk about you I finally was able to go down my ever growing list and visit most of you and I must say you are all such an inspiration to me! Pixie Dust Studio Challenge!

Second posting today scroll down for Pink Elephant Scrap Challenge

One of my favorite things to say to my kids is "Cut it out!", of course at the Pixie Dust Challenges we aren't scolding you, we are cheering you on to get out your scissors and cut out you image either in full or in part. I chose to use the new May Pixie of the month available at the shop. She is just too fun, all of Kathy's images are so great to work with, they make me happy! I wanted to create something other than a card so I created this basket using one of Lauren Meader's timeless templates Pack A Picnic.

I jumped out of my comfort zone and pulled out this grape paper from my never to be used pile, never say never! Now I want you to know I have been working with the new release digi's and they are so great, I wish I could show you today but soon...Now be sure to stop by and see what the rest of the Paper Pixies have to share:

Remember to "Cut It Out"! Beth aka BR-T

The Pink Elephant Scrapbooking Challenge...

I am honored to let you know I was selected to a part of The Pink Elephant scrap team! What a thrill to say the least!

This week we have a challenge to use Pink, now I don't know about you but pink is a tough one for me but I gathered myself and just sort of let go. We have the most beautiful pink daisies in our garden right now so I had my daughter sit amongst them to acquire this photo.

Now I want you to know I didn't digitally alter the flowers though I tried forever... in the end I use a marker. I found the DAI*SY sentiment at Create with TLC, Paulette graciously has free digital sentiments almost daily so you should stop by!  Well I hope you have a fantastic day, I'll be back shortly with another posting! Beth
