Tuesday Takes With Sketches In Thyme

Firstly I want to say that am glad I made most of this weeks creations prior to this week because I do indeed have 2 sick kids! This does nothing for one's creative mojo, because I am stressed about fevers and sore throats and praying I don't get it!  LOL!

With that being said Happy Tuesday it's going to be beautiful out today and for this I fell blessed. Today we have another great sketch up for Tuesdays Takes # 13 at Sketches in Thyme. If you are a big Mojo fan I am sure you'll be pleased.

How great is this, it's so open for interpretation!

Here is my card using my favorite Ketto Calliope:

I really like how this card sort of took a life of it's own and came together with ease. I used my embossing button technique allowing some of the button to be exposed for a different look. Here is a close up:

Don't you love that crown charm I have been hoarding it for ever!
The card decided it was time so farewell little crown. This card is for a friend I have known
since kindergarten but it's late!!!  I am sure she'll understand!

Hello! I am so excited to share these fun treat baskets I made for my son's kindergarten class & faculty there are 40 in all. I filled the cello bags with pretzels, white chips, chocolate chips, Valentine M&;M's as well as dried cranberries. I must say it looks rather festive. My only regret is I didn't make these for my children's classes... however I had already fulfilled my room mother obligation at Halloween and simply ran out of time.
Here is an image of the front and back

Here is a closeup the basket is designed by Lauren Meader and available at Papertrey Ink
the stamp set is a Heidi Grace Design Valentine's Day

I'm having a Flashback

I have really been putting off submitting for Flashback Friday because I  am usually leery about posting "past" creations but when I saw the call for the first 3D project I was actually excited to share.  This a a mini album  (2in. x 2in.) I created using bits and pieces from my stash. The awesome hinge was from Daisy D, the wing sections were actually metal hearts from Joann's that I applied Alcohol inks too and then stamped with StazOn. I really am happy to relive this it was an awesome day at the zoo probably one of my favorite zoo days!
