YNS Challenge # 27

Happy Wednesday!!! I want to say wow on all the amazing creations on  your own flowers challenge, I could almost smell them! This week at Your Next Stamp Challenge blog we want to see some negativity! No not the evil, wicked, mean & nasty kind, we want nicely negative, in other words a white image stamped on dark card stock. Now lets just say you don't have a super powerful white pigment based white ink pad I did a few techniques of other supplies for substitutions:

This technique is using an Embossing Ink with a White EP:*******************************

This technique is using an Embossing Ink with a clear Embossing Powder, and the brayering on black ink. You have to go over the image when done brayering with tissue to get excess ink off:
*****************************

Finally this is white acrylic paint. You need to paint it out really thin on a plastic surface and then treat it like a stamp pad. Might I suggest you wash of your stamps right away. As long as it's not a foam pad if you are forced to let the paint dry onto your stamp with a little scrubbing it will come off:
******************************
There are many other alternatives as well use your imaginations!

Here is my card using Cute Witch Ellie her Kitty

Your Next stamp offers 2 fabulous prizes for you to win:
1. Winner – one lucky winner, chosen by random.org, will win $10 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Winner Blinkie to proudly display on their blog!

2. Top Pick – one lucky entry, chosen by Karen, will win $5 in YNS Stamp Bucks (to spend on YNS stamps) and the Top Pick Blinkie to proudly display on their blog! [NB You must use a YNS stamp on your creation to be eligible to win the Top Pick prize].

We’d love to see you use a YNS stamp on your challenge card/creation, but if you don’t have one, then you can still join in and be entered into the prize draw! As our challenge runs for 2 whole weeks you have plenty of time to hop on over to the YNS Store and pick up some of these cuties yourself! And if you do use a YNS stamp on your challenge card/creation, you’ll be entered into the prize draw TWICE and be entered into the Top Pick draw – that’s 3 chances to win!
So are you ready for some negativity? Bring it! Beth

Your Next Stamp sneak peeks day 1!!!

Happy Monday to you! I am so excited to announce Karen from YNS will be releasing a wonderful array of Christmas stamps October 7th!!! We thought it would be fun to give you several fun filled days to get your minds stirring about what you'll make when you get your very own stamps. Heck you may even win a few!!!
Today we are paying homage to Heather our amazing dt member who created  these awesome stamps I am using today! Heather's new designs as well as the Your Next Stamp Christmas Release will be available for purchase starting October 7th.  We will be having a blog hop to celebrate so be sure to come back and hop along.  There's gonna be fabulous prizes!!!!
Now before I show you my card I feel I must warn you to put your sun glasses on!

This set is called Spread the Cheer consisting of a  pair of trees  and the great word art sentiment.
To achieve the sentiment inside the tree I stamped the tree image and then cut out the inners if the image leaving the stumps,  it's called reverse masking... I think. After stamping the tree image several times on my background paper  I took my mask and lined it up with my stamped trees and stamped the sentiment. It was really quite simple for the effect achieved! Now Simmone and Wendy both have some great inspiration to share so be sure to stop by! Happy Monday!!!! Beth
