blow me down...

my cards that is! It is windy today and it took forever to take pictures of these cards of course the clouds didn't help but it's cool outside so I am glad for all of it!
I went back to Stamps and Smiles for a sketch challenge they are a very encouraging crew. I don't know about you but when I do a creation for another challenge site I really appreciate feedback from their designers. I try my best to comment on every submission for US sometimes I fail and for that I am sorry! With that being said, check out Stamps and Smiles sketch # 29:

Her is my take:

I wanted to share something I discovered, I love Close to My Heart card stock, it has a white core which is rockin for distressing however when I was running it through the Cuttlebug embossing folders it came out with little tears. I played around and configured a new stack: Start with the A plate, then C plate, embossing folder, and then add one tan rubber mat from spellbinders. You will get a perfect embossing every time! If this is old news well, I always was a day late and a dollar short!

I happened by chance to a sight called Artful Inkables and they are having their first ever challenge to use Red, White and black. Now I think we can all agree these colors look so great together! Here is my take:

Thanks for stopping by I hope your day is blessed! Beth aka BR-T
