Wired...

Once again I'm off in a new direction, I used some wire on Unscripted Sketches last card Challenge in a controlled fashion. I went in a different direction and used a lot of wire in a more random fashion. If you click on the picts you can see whats going on . The tricky part was affixing these to the card. I used the tiniest amount of hot glue for two and brads for one. The best part, getting rid of some old stash, very old stash! Enjoy your day...Beth aka BR-T

Happy Saturday to you! It's time for another mind freeing sketch at Unscripted Sketches, this week there is a slight twist to the fun we used pictures rather than a stamped image. Here is this weeks sketch:

Here is what I came up with, these were some left over images from a Vegas
lay out I did some time ago.

I am really excited to see what the rest of you come up with by putting a little of you in US. BR-T

another wonderful gift from my friend Sarah...

Sarah thanks again for sharing these wonderful images with me, I am happy to say I ordered some of these lovelies and am so excited to send you images of Suzette, Ivy,Maisy Calliope! I can't hardly wait for these darlings to arrive...Ketto images are some of the most amazing creations out there! If you are interested go to Stamping Bella. I admit these images to me are pricey but worth it!

Isn't Ginger darling? I love the detailing going on with these images. Fearing I would lose the wonder of Ginger, I created the most simple card in BR-T card making history not to overpower the image. I cannot put in words the degree of difficulty this as for me! I hope all is inky and glittery in your neck of the woods... BR-T

New paper and old stamps really compliment each other...

I was at one of my local craft stores that had 50% off individual sheets of paper, honestly I have never purchased paper in this fashion, I always buy the slabs. Wow what an exhilarating feeling to get all the designs you wanted!

so blessed....

I am, though I forget about it on a daily basis. I don't know when it happened but I have become a cranky monster! I wear a green bracelet from VBS that says Watch for God to keep myself in check, if you asked my kiddos they'd say it doesn't help. The problem is I've been viewing things under the pretense of the grass is always greener. Seriously I'm in need of some sort of wake up call for all my true blessings!
I am wondering if does anyone want to do a image swap? I specifically want some Ketto or gorjuss images or those awesome images from the greeting farm or anything fun to shade. I have some whimsical Doodle Factory Creatures I also have some fun rocket ship images and a ton of close to My Heart stamps. Ithink if we stamped the images on 4in.x4in. pieces of white card stock, that would give us some wiggle room. Let me know!

OK here is my card using a retired CTMH stamp called School Fun. I cut the school bell of to have a house image and that little bird is adorable! This will probably be my last posting until Saturdays new Unscripted Sketches challenge #14, I have an EMT conference this weekend...of course I will be bringing the laptop along so I'll be checking out everyone's amazing work in my free time! Remember we all are so blessed...

Both Cuttlebug Challenges and Our Creative Corner wants to see the colors of Red, White & Blue plus a few extras. So what do you get when you mix it all up...

I hope you like it! If you get a chance this week we'd love for you to stop by Unscripted Sketches for our fun Challenge! Be Well, BR-T

One card three challenges...

Here is card I completed for multiple challenges:
Inky Impressions #4 wants distressed work so I sanded the scalloped edges of my card stock and inked the snowflake to make the embossing stand out.
Stamp Something wants a Christmas themed card what a great way to cool off by envisioning snow!
And last but not least Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge wants to see 3 ribbons and this is open ended...

So after absorbing these ideas in, this is what came out...

Happy 4th of July...

It's Saturday and the 4th and life is awesome! This weeks sketch at Unscripted Sketches is really grand and the fabulous takes by my fellow DT ladies are sparklin' so go check them out! Jeryn who not only designs killer digital cards and lay outs, conjured up an amazing Bio page for the Unscripted DT. I read through all the answers of the questions to compare answers it was really interesting...mostly a relief I guess, now I know I am not the only one who has a slight organizational impairment!
Anyhow here is sketch #13

and here is what I came up with...

We are so thrilled to see we are at almost 100 followers, now we just want to see you all go out the and get Unscripted...
