Z is for Zombie....

I don't want you to get the idea my family and I are consumed with blood guts and gore we just wanted to do something as a family we'd never forget! Last month we had the thrill of participating in the 4th Annual Zombie Walk. You should know Zombies are the nicest people, we all looked really horrific but the # 1 rule was no scaring kiddos which was great. The only one not into it was my youngest. He caught wind that he could have dressed up in Camouflage and brought his Nerf gun to shoot the Zombies at the meeting point on the University Lawn. Once he figured this out he just knew he got the bloody end of the stick!  So where am I going with this monologue? Melissa from Pink Cat Studio created the best Halloween digi's this week and one of them just so happens to be Zombie Blobby! Before I share my creation here is the complete set and they are all spooktacular!
My Daughter named the Vampire Blobby  "Count Blobbula" isn't that a hoot?!? Ok so are you ready to see my creation?  OK you asked for it!!!

So I am sure you are wondering where we got all our fake blood and guts right? Well a great privilege of being an EMT is that there is the Moulage Kit at the Rescue Barn with all sorts of oogie boogie stuff! For the guts and brains well we cooked up some Raman noodles with lots of red food coloring and tossed in some oatmeal.  Just in case we got hungry later!  Well I want you to know the main thought mulling through my half eaten brain all night "good grief what if all this fake blood doesn't wash of for church tomorrow?" It all came off! Beth

Goodness, what a way to promote family togetherness! Glad all the gore came off without a problem and it does look like you all had fun with it. *Ü*
