So what have you been reading?

Good Morning!
Today I have a bookmark to share
for the Stampotique Challenge but I am a day late!
Their new challenge is black and white
with a hint of color but I suppose the red
is a bit too brazen...
(click for sharper image)
This is the first time I inked up Relaxin by Stampotique, and I love her!
The repeated wording in the background is
"black and white and read all over".
After I water colored my paper, I stamped the image
then masked it off
and ran it through the printer.
Finally I stamped some books
randomly with white ink.
It's like a faux resist technique and way easier to achieve!
And the best news 4 more white eyelets used up!!!

So what are you reading right now?
I am reading A time Travelers Wife which is interesting but the
jumping around is taking up too much of my reading stamina. My
backup is The Rangers Apprentice Series Book 3 Icebound Land.
My daughter is reading them as well, she's on book one but will
blaze through them in no time.

Thanks For Stopping Bye!

I love this, it's soooooo cool! And since you asked, I'm reading "Linger" by Maggie Stiefvater, and "The Sentimentalists" by Johanna Skisbrud, which I've renewed now for the 2nd time and can't seem to get through. It's a book club choice, so I feel like I need to make the effort. Stick with the Time Traveler's Wife, I loved that one!

Great bookmark Beth! I found the Time Traveller's Wife exhausting but I'm glad I stayed the distance as it was such an unusual read. I've just read 'Italian Shoes' by Henning Mankell. Not sure if it's one I'd recommend but it's less 'dark' than his detective stories. I've got a long weekend ahead so have brought home two different books to try. I run a monthly reading group at the library so am always looking for new stuff. If either of the books I've chosen turn out to be good I'll let you know! Happy reading my sweet fellow bookworm, DJ x

That's beautiful! I love how you masked it before running it through the printer. I'd never think of using my printer that way. Thanks for playing with us at Use it Tuesday! - Heather B
